Thanks to Macnetix our project was realized successfully.“

Initial Situation

The Shopping-Center Massen in the city of Wemperhardt in Luxemburg was opened in its current form the beginning of December 2006. Originally the company Massen was an agricultural business with a petrol station. Today the Center is a modern complex with seven restaurants, a Café-Bar, a bank and a shopping gallery flooded with light holding numerous fashion boutiques and different special stores.

Requirements

The 10,000 square metre shopping gallery was to receive a digital advertisement information system that could be well integrated in the existing structure. In addition, an uncomplicated program was needed that does not require operation only by IT-specialists but is generally easy to handle. A further measure: The new digital-signage-program needs to provide a high measure of flexibility, as short-term changes needed to be integrated quickly. At the same time however it should also contain automated functions that would integrate repeating content on a regular basis.

Result

Macnetix equipped the Shopping-Center Massen with its successful  Digital-Signage -System editIT/playIT. Three large screen matrixes and a 32‘‘ screen decorate the shopping centre in Luxemburg. They display the current offers of the house. Every week the market offers approximately 30 items at a special price, which are advertised on screens on the bakery and the butcher´s market. 2×2 screen matrixes present the products that are currently offered at reduced prices here in word and with pictures. This makes possible waiting times of customers at the fresh food counter more pleasant. A further large matrix that consists of a total of nine (3×3) 40“ screens additionally informs about the daily menus in the seven restaurants of the gallery or about special events scheduled in the mall. A movie is also played on the screens. This includes a special service for the small customers, who have a 32‘‘ display all to themselves in the children’s corner that mainly shows cartoon movies. The simple operation of the system is especially advantageous. The equipment of the screens is done by the employees of the marketing department. Changes can be integrated spontaneously through the central control. Not only word files and images but also movies can be presented on the digital advertisement screens. All in all, the target is to generate a higher turnover through the application of the screens directly at the Point of Sale.
