Macnetix has expanded its TV-solutions with CoaxTV. This is a benefit for those looking for an entry-level solution of high-definition television, including value-added services. With CoaxTV hotels and hospitals offer their guests and patients digital TV channels in top quality – using the existing coaxial antenna network.

Macnetix offers the system in different versions – as always in a flexible, modular setup. In addition to the entry version CoaxTV LIGHT, in which the TV channels are received by a digital head-end and simultaneously sent to all TV´s in the network, it is also possible to include a graphical presentation of the house, showing information to special offers, the weather and a wakeup functionality, when combining the entry level with CoaxTV PORTAL. In addition, all TV stations are centrally managed and the CoaxTV devises are updated with just a few mouse clicks – time-consuming, manual programming of every single TV in each room is no longer necessary.

If the customer whishes to earn money with his CoaxTV system, he simply adds CoaxTV REVENUE to his lineup. With this module all TV channels are encrypted and sent to the TV sets, which decrypt the signals using a CAM module. This allows the customer to decide which channels shall be viewed for free and for which he wishes to charge a fee. Manipulation of the channels is not possible. In addition, costumers have the option to include services like HSIA and VoIP and offer a different bundling for business and leisure customers, which CoaxTV REVENUE will bill to the guests rooms via an optional PMS /KIS interface.
